I agree. It's best to ask. Recently, I saw a columns and table layout on a fav sellers listing that I really liked. Even though, they're common columns and tables, I still emailed her and asked her if she minded me making them my own. I changed the colors and added pictures. I sent her a practiceboard link showing her the changes. She was very sweet about it and told me go for it. She mentioned how other sellers just take her layout and don't even bother to switching anything out. They use it exactly like hers, colors and all. Asking someone first, is just doing the right thing and being polite.

I'm glad I emailed her because now I can use them and do so with a clear conscience. Afterall, it was her idea that arranged the columns and tables as they are, not mine.

The really cool thing is I offered to help her do her "About Me' page. It needs it. She was happy and welcomed the help. So, after the holidays, we'll get together.

I may have made another eBay friend in the process.
