I may be wrong but I think each user is attached to a specific server so I don't think moving the pics around would help.

Although I'm also pretty sure that your gallery image should be fine. Even if Auctiva is having problems it should still show up at eBay on the search results.

Also, did you know that you have the option of using externally hosted images? I've never done it myself but it may be something to look into. I think you just need to upload them to some other host and then tell the listing where they are.
