I know that there are those that are deeply passionate about AOL..but for me? I wouldn't have it if AOL paid me to use it. And that's the God's honest truth.
I'd use copper.net, peoplepc, netzero or something else..there are so many others to use.
The only time that I have problems with getting emails to customers is with AOL. Thank goodness for eBay messaging system now. It's cut back the number of customers I have to call when they're angry about not receiving my emails.
I don't use a subscription internet service..I have road runner fast as all get out cable. My browsers are on my desk top and I boot into them without all the bunk and bs that subscription services require that you have on your computer.
Just spouting off..perhaps this should go in the venting thread. <smile> I had a very upset customer this morning (with AOL) that wasn't receiving my emails. When I contact via eBay contact member..voila...she receives my message, adds me to whatever the heck I have to be added to so she can receive my email. She sends back contact via ebay member..resend my item, I do...where do you think it goes? That's right..her flippin spam. Even after she'd added me to her whatever list. <sigh>
I'm done!
