API dropped condition?

I get an error almost every time I list something from Auctiva saying, API, dropped item condition.

Ok, well I ignore that most of the time, but then I started searching in eBay one day and noticed that I could really limit my search using the item specifics. Cool.

But, then I realized that many of my listings don't have those item specifics, as I happened on that by change once while revising a listing.

Now, for the life me, I don't understand as I always check off the item specifics once the product is found, etc., but there seems to be MORE item specifics available when you list through eBay?

Or not?
