Oh yes, regarding token generation we do that too, I expect everyone does because that token is like an identity pass it allows Auctiva's software to access our ebay account for listing purposes e.g. for uploading listings from our Auctiva account to our ebay account.

And much more if you use Auctiva's checkout.
