it seems that the tutorial you refer to may be out of date. In which case, I strongly suggest that you contact the support team at Auctiva Commerce for assistance. However, you will need to use Store Designer as that is the current tool for creating your store pages. The support team should be able to assist you with any specific question you may have.

The Auctiva Commerce forum is available at:
http://community.auctivacommerce.com/eve/forums, so there is a specific forum you can use for Auctiva Commerce in general, but for the type of assistance you seem to be looking for, I suggest you file a support case for the most rapid response.
