I believe you can go in and correct the template title on eBay as long as there are no bids yet.

That has happened to me before too--to keep it from happening to me I make sure to hit preview on the listing before I launch it to make sure the template title refreshes itself to match the item's title. Or I just click on the question mark button right next to the template title and that will make it match the actual title as well. Good luck!
