Hi,

I decided to run a full test-set of 36 1MB images (something I created last Spring) to see if there were any problems with Firefox and the Java-based uploader. I enabled the Java Console to watch the upload process from both the uploader window and concurrent actions in the console window. It ran smooth and completed in about 9 minutes.

If you can turn on the Console in Java settings and watch the upload process, it might give you a clue to the failure. Locate Java Icon in the Windows Control Panel and the Console is under the Advanced tab. Select "Show Console". I'd also check the "Default Java for browers" on that tab and make sure both IE and "Mozilla family" are checked for Firefox support. Firefox should also show Java Console under Tools.
