I had the same problem. The template looks perfect on my computer but when viewed elsewhere everything was too big and you'd have to scroll left right to read everything. My problem was that my tables where too big & I just had to shrink them a bit (trial and error). Don't know if there's another more permanent way to fix it but I just try to keep my tables in the templates small & that seemed to fix the problem. Maybe the table size isn't even related to the large template problem, but it worked for me.
