this may not be the answer to all your problems, but I have just started setting up all my descriptions in an excel spreadsheet before hand, then cutting and pasting them in to my ready made template and it works a treat!

Not only is there less time online therefore avoiding (lets face it) frequent crashes of the auctiva website part way through a listing - but if it does happen, I have ready made copy to hand which I can rapidly insert. Also, if I have several items to sell with very similar wording (e.g. in your case, by the same artiste, or for me, stamps from the same region of the world), I can cut and paste relevant content in the spreadsheet and save yet more time. I also have an 'at a glance' summary of all my items.
