Cannot Delete Old Image Folders

Hi,
I've been trying all day to delete old empty image folders with no luck.
I follow the instructions and click on the "delete" button in the Image Folders section, but all I get is a warning about deleting the images inside the folder, when I click "continue" nothing happens??
