Reply to "Closed Listing"

Hi Pete,

The Closed Listings folder essentially reflects all listings that have closed at eBay. If you delete closed listings, it won't affect those you have stored in Saved Listings. Also, the closed listings aren't really fully stored listings at Auctiva, it's more like an Audit trail showing what's happen at eBay. eBay keeps them for only 90 days, but Auctiva keeps the audit trail on that list forever (at least in my experience these past 3 years). You can fully import a listing for eBay using the Import feature within that 90 days that eBay keeps closed listings. Import then creates a fully stored listing in the Saved Listings.

The only reasons to keep old ones are for the audit trail (as long as that's needed) or for the short 90 day period you can use to import a closed listing (just in case recovery). Note, the closed listings also link to the Transactions page for more detail on successful sales.
