Hi, I see this is from a month ago, but I've just started listing with Auctiva. I think I had the same problem.
Are you talking about reverting to black as you're writing your text? If so, the only way I've been able to get around it is to keep typing in the same paragraph and then hitting enter to force the line into a new paragraph.
It doesn't always happen, so I don't know what triggers it, but that's how I work around it.
