Custom template Editor Help Please

Hi All,
I read a post from 2005 by a auctiva staff member about the ease of using the custom template builder.

The template editor must of been changed since then.When I paste my html into the editor, it will not let me go to standard view without changing my code, the post mentioned i could go back and forth between modes.If I try to save the code without inserting a Description tag, it reminds me the tag is required.

My question is,how can you accurately control the position of the Description and image tags in a template? Would using div's tags in your html be the best way to control the exact position on the template? Thank you for help
