Reply to "Diff btwn "closed" and "saved" auctions"

Hi angiesvoice,

Thanks for posting your question here. Let's see if I can clear up this confusion for you.

Any time you create and save or post a listing through Auctiva, the details of the listing will automatically be retained in the Saved Listings section of your Auctiva account. Those "saved listings" can be used as templates to post new instances of those listings or similar listings in the future.

On the other hand, your Closed Listings page is where you can view certain vital statistics about your eBay listings that have come to a close as well as relist them. You can relist items that have closed recently from your Closed Listings page using either the "Edit and Relist" or "Bulk Relist" options. The "Bulk Relist" option allows you to relist items in bulk but does not allow you to make nearly as many changes during the relist process as the "Edit and Relist" option.

You also have the option to create saved listings from your Closed Listings page using the blue "Import Listings" button on that page. If you check the boxes next to the desired items on your Closed Listings page and click that "Import Listings" button, it will send those listings to your Saved Listings page and you can post them again as new listings from there.

If you use the "Edit and Relist" option to relist an item and make changes during the process, it will not cause any changes to be made to the saved listing in your account from which the closed listing the relist was done from was originally posted.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.
