We aren't experiencing any technical problems that would account for the behavior you are describing, so there must a process or setting on your end that is conflicting with the Auctiva software. It definitely sounds like there is a pop-up blocker at work, so the first thing I recommend trying is disabling any and all pop-up blockers that are enabled on your browser.
The culprit is most likely the default pop-up blocker used by your browser, however, most browser toolbars such as those provided by Yahoo and Google also come equipped with pop-up blockers that are enabled by default.
