Just want to throw my two cents in here.
The maintenance window really needs to be changed. Having it run at 10:30pm PDT(usually earlier) on a Thursday night is rediculous. I know that those on the east coast, or further for that matter, may not feel the pain since it is well past midnight and many, if not most, of the users are probably fast asleep.
But here in the west, many of us are still plugging away, trying to get listings setup for the next day when boom! The maintenance window pops up during a save and everything you just setup is gone! How delightful.
Here's my suggestion. Push the window back to either midnight or 1:00am PDT. That way it will run when most of us are still dreaming of dollar signs and not maintenance messages. If that can't be done, how about moving it to a night that most sellers aren't likely to be sitting in front of their machines punching in listings. Maybe Saturday or Sunday evenings? Or would that be a burden on the staff there? I don't know.
All I can say is I know I'm not the only one who's said something about this and I think many of the users out there would jump for hjoy if the time frame were changed.
