Dyson Animal DC14 vacuums...reviews anyone?

Has anyone bought a Dyson Animal DC 14 vacuum? This is the newer model (DC07 is the older version) that has the telescoping wand. I've been eying them up for a while now, but just have a hard time coughing up $550 for a VACUUM even tho most reviews I've read are stellar. <sigh>

Anyway, I found the purple Animal DC14 vacuum on eBay going for about $375 + ~$40 Shipping, which is a pretty decent total price compared to $550 locally (if it's on sale that is). But the catch is, most of them on eBay seem to be Factory Refurbished units. I'm thinking these should still be okay - they WERE refurbed by the factory so anything that may have been wrong should be fixed. And I have bought refurbed stuff in the past - my first computer was a refurbed HP system and it was just fine.

Has anyone bought one of the refurbed Dysons?
