eBay New Picture Policies --Spring Seller Update

Assuming you folks at Auctiva are privy to development matters at eBay, are you able to provide us the straight skinny with regard these contoversial image policies they are threatening to implement, such as no borders or text permitted on images.

Are the photographs we host through Auctiva subject to these policies? It is rather difficult to get a straight answer from eBay, as the PINKS on the discussion boards keep referring to "eBay picure hosting." Or permitted in the listing, but not on gallery, etc.

We are told on one hand, they will permit photo collages, or an attribution watermark, but not text digitized or borders?

What is up with that? A pixel is a pixel. Who cares if there is a border? Or even words in the picture for that matter. In the end...it is still just a picture, which will display just fine.

And will the Auctiva settings we use automatically comply with these new 500 pixel requirements?

Thanks for any light you can shed on the matter.
