I went into Image Management, selected the image and used the crop feature to eliminate the border and i saved it.

i relisted the item (after doing literally one hundred edits as above) and of course the revised picture does not upload. The old picture which shouldn't even exist is what is showing on ebay. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. So fyi--the editing features in image management does not work. Thanks Auctiva.
