Well, I've not had the problem (yet). However, I do have a "plan" to thwart the issue....Auctiva Insurance. It is a CRIME to falsify an Insurance Claim. I like the International First Class rate and have considered doing that for books and other small items with Insurance Only (small charge) for International. If the item is lost or damaged, it means Insurance Claim (and not potential charge back). Buyer would have to cooperate with the Insurance Claim, but PayPal would recognize a Refund on basis of Insurance needs Buyer input to substantiate claim. I was going to write a letter to PayPal folks to see if they would endorse the process, i.e. no charge backs with an Insurance Claim pending and cooperation on claim by Buyer.

That's not cheating the system. It's in fact making the Buyer a criminal for any false filing.

I photo document every shipment/package and the Customs Number is tracked by USPS (even the green ones), so it does show entry in the system to verify USPS receipt of item.

It also gives more money to Auctiva! Big Grin

It's at least a thought.....one that needs more investigation before I can recommend.
