Oh boy, then you must be having a heck of a time with OSCommerce! Maybe they've improved the documentation since when I tried to learn it a couple of years ago but I finally gave up.
I ended up using CubeCart, though, which I found to be much more user-friendly for non-programmers such as myself. It's also free, open source stuff and I've had a lot of good experience with their support forums. (I use Version 2.something, by the way, but they've got a newer one out now too.)

You have NO idea how lost I am.
It's like someone is speaking a foreign language to me.
Let's say that language is...oh Spanish. I know a few of the words, water, taco, home, but I'm nowhere near able to understand a full sentence spoken to me. Well, I understand SSL and more, but putting it all together? I'm lost, just lost and getting frustrated.
I feel I may just have to find someone who can do the whole she-bang for me and pay them.
Cube Cart? I'll look into that.
Thanks for the tip..you might have saved me some money if I can figure it out.
