You must have a bid(s) on that particular item...that and having less than 12 hours left are the only reasons I know of that you wouldn't be able to revise. Once a bid is placed you can't change anything but you CAN add to the description. (There would be a box for extra text under the template. On the finished revision it would show up all the way at the bottom)
