If this is in regards to my post, don't sweat the HTML business in the long version if you don't want to. You can just stick with the short version (fig. 1 & 2) and hopefully that will work well until the engineers have a better solution. The long version of my post and all the HTML mumbo-jumbo was just an insight for anyone inclined to get a further understanding of what's going on under the hood.
The reason for the new editor, to sum up part of this news post from Mike, is that the old editor had some vulnerabilities which contributed to the virus problem the site had earlier this year. So unfortunately, I'm sorry to say, it just had to be done.
