Reply to "fake email from "ebay" HELP PLEASE!!!!"

Michelle, eBay has a very simple and effective process for this. What you need to do is forward the "fake" (eBay calls them "spoof") email to spoof@ebay.com eBay will then send you an acknowledgement email and will investigate. It typically only takes a couple of days. They won't tell you what they are doing about it but they will verify if it is "spoof" or not. This has happened to me a couple of times and within days of eBay confirming it is "spoof" the emails stop coming. I guess they do something to convince the sending party to stop.'
