Reply to "Filing Insurance Claim: do I need a tracking number?"

One more thing: I've tried to buy Auctiva insurance for a buyer but the payment is already more than two days old so Auctiva would not let me buy the insurance. This is the first time I'm having problem getting insurance from Auctiva, and I did not know there was a two-day limit. I've just shipped out the item via Media Mail last night on 1-19-2005 at around 5:30PM, Pacific Standard Time.

Can Auctiva approve insurance for that transaction? The buyer has already paid for the insurance, and I've just shipped out the item yesterday. It was a collector DVD so I packaged it very well, with double layers of cushions (bubble wraps.) All my shipping supplies are new. I have never lost or damaged a shipment before, and I have never filed a claim for shipping insurance. I do not anticipate a problem with the shipment.
