Actually, I had to delete ALL versions of Java when I went to a website hosting Wordpress files, and a banner ad nuked my AV and installed itself deeply into my system.

So, I have a clean install of the latest Java files.

Note that I don't crash -every- time I upload photos, just some of the time. I've taken to saving the listing once all the writing is done (which is very intensive, as I sell unique historic manuscripts) then reopening the listing to add the photos.

I don't know if this has solved the problem, but at least if it hasn't, I don't lose 20 minutes of writing!
