Flash player disapears

Anybody having a problem with the flashplayer. I've installed it several times and it keeps disapearing. I'll look at my listing and it shows an icon to download "flash" so I reinstall it and all works fine for awhile. Could this be caused by my spyware removers? I also switched browsers to Firefox and have it clear my personal data everytime it closes. Could that also delete the flash player? Does anyone know how to set it to stay put!
