It sounds like there is a setting or application on your system that is interfering with the functionality of Flash. I suggest filing a support case regarding this issue using the appropriate link on our help page:

Also, once you have installed Flash Player, it is necessary to restart your system. If either of you haven't done this already, I suggget giving that a try.
