Reply to "Font Colours in Template"

Hi Simon,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I reviewed the listing you mentioned here and found that the the details in the "International Section" of your Seller Details profile are a different color than the rest of your text because that section of your Seller Details profile is specifically set to “black”.

The Spider Web template is configured with a default text color of white due to the dark background so any text you enter without selecting a specific font color will be white when this template is used, but you can always override the default by selecting a specific font color.

In order to resolve this problem for future listings, I recommend going into your Seller Details profile and removing the formatting that is forcing this section of text to always be black.

You can edit your Seller Details profile by mousing over the “Profiles” tab within your account, selecting the “Manage” option under “Seller Details” and then clicking the “Edit” button next to your Seller Details profile.

From there, just select the “Shipping” tab, click the “Standard” tab along the top of the editor to get out of HTML mode, highlight all the text below “International Shipping”, select “Automatic” from the “Font Color” menu on the editor toolbar, and then save your changes.

If you would like to correct this problem in any of your listings which are currently active on eBay, the easiest way to do so would be to go directly to the eBay Revise your Item form for each item and then changing the text color as desired directly through the Standard more of the description editor there.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with this, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
