nop, I tried to replace my bla.gif with bla.GIF and it told me you cannot replace a gif with a jpeg but I know it's a gif, it's animated, jpeg can't be animated, ...

so I tried to upload bla.GIF as a new file and it did the same, removed the animation and put a black background and grain
