FB is voluntary...stated in Ebay's own help pages. Some leave it right away, some leave it in batches once a month, and some never leave it at all. I think (JMHO) it's a little harsh to call it 'blackmail' to want to wait and make sure the buyer is happy first. Everyone has their own way...
