does anyone have any information on how to cover yourself if Ebay tries to remove a listing by saying goods are counterfeit? I am positive my goods are genuine but want to be prepared if they try to remove them. I have never dealt with this issue before. I know some people place a disclaimer in the auction stating the goods are genuine and not counterfeit but to me that seems to detract from the listing! I did insert a disclaimer in my auctions but I did it in white text which blends into my template. I did this just as a safeguard against Big Brother Ebay. Here is my disclaimer"This is not counterfeit merchandise and adheres to all Ebay policy" on item number 290145823516
It appears below this line "Insurance is optional , I am not responsible for damages incurred during shipping." above my second picture.If you right click and drag the text appears
