The only explanation I can think of is the Saved Listing was modified prior to posting or scheduled post to the eBay system with that template. Since Aucitva doesn't have a method to change templates on active listings (through the API), it's the only possibility that comes to mind (other than direct update at eBay with new code from HTML export feature).

You can always use the HTML export feature to copy and paste HTML code to eBay's description editor box (box set to HTML and old code except scrolling gallery deleted). That will replace all the code and fix the problem. That option is open as long as description update is possible (no bids).
