HELP - INTERMITTANT IMAGE UPLOADING -

HELLO EVERYONE, I am new to the Community but not to Auctiva - have been using for over a year now with not too many problems. At the moment I am PULLING MY HAIR OUT . On image selection I go to Select Image and then blue box upload - then browse then I can bring the pics in but then when I press UPLOAD TO LISTING (BLUE box) IT JAMS UP. At some times I can manage to upload say early a.m. but then later in the day it fails. Have written and spoken to Auctiva - cleared cookies, history and everything they have said but still problems continue. Is this just me or is everyone having a problem????? I have read someone saying drag and drop the pics - how do I do this. If I am lucky enough to complete a listing then when I post it just jams again - or if really lucky I can post successfully. SORRY TO BE A NEWB. but one has to start somewhere PLEASE SOMEONE REPLY THANKS A MILLION
