My daughter, my youngest, turned 16 today...how could this be? Better get me a box of Kleenex...cause I feel the tears coming on!
Wasn't she just born yesterday? Seems like it.
With only she and her 18 year old brother at home now (and he's moving out at the end of Spring semester at school) that it really isn't that long before I have empty nest syndrome. Trust me folks, I'll have it REAL bad, REAL REAL BAD!<smile>
Such a wonderful creature she is.
And she is officially allowed to date today! YOWZER! Before she had to be chaperoned...I know, I know...get with the times..but it's worked out so far and she was really glad for the rules & hardly ever barked about them. (and when she did it was for show and would later admit she really was glad to have us say NO to alot of things)Her two older brothers aren't that excited about her dating...HA!
My Beloved Hannah, My giggly young woman in the midst of this household filled with testosterone.
What a blessing she is! We watch "girly" movies together, talk about fingernail polish, jewelry, clothing and hairstyles, we love to gossip together about teen girl goings on...she's a joy.(99% of the time)
Here's to my Hannah...I wish she wouldn't want to grow up so fast!
