How do I boost sales in my ebay store?

I have opened an ebay store mostly becasue that first month was free. I have noticed that nothing is selling. well, I have sold one Geocaching item, but the jewelery isnt even getting hits. I'd like to atleast drive in some traffic. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to increase traffic into the store. Is it the store format that they are avoiding? Do flat out auctions do better? Any suggestions would be fantastic!
