I don't think the Auctiva tutorial is going to help in this case. You'll need to point your domain from GoDaddy.

I've always used NameCheap but am sure it's basically the same. Go into your control panel on GD and find something like URL forwarding. Enter your URL of choice. Be sure to save or update your changes. Then give it a few minutes and your domain should point right to that URL.
