Thanks for posting your question here. We do not currently offer a custom template tag that can be used to populate custom emails with the name or eBay username of your buyers, so I'm afraid that it will not be possible to create the type of introduction you described for your custom emails at this time.

However, I have recorded your comments about this as a suggestion and we will consider adding something of that nature when we plan future updates to our service.
