Image border colors...any cheat codes?

I want to continue to use Auctiva's automatic resize feature (to 400x300) because:
A. The image is cleaner than using my own html with the "width" statement + [IMAGE#_URL],
B. Theoretically it loads quicker.
C. I like the album it takes you to without having to go back to the listing.

I have my blue borders disabled. I use all custom templates. My wish is to be able to use colored borders (other than blue), as one can with the standard templates.

Is there a line of code that I can, say, slip into my <style> section that would trick the JS into thinking my custom template was actually a given standard template? For example, if I could trick the script into thinking the template was "Liquid Green" then it would put the same border that "Liquid Green" uses around my image on my custom template (assuming I turned borders back on).

Or is this a rectal tonscillectomy, i.e. is there an easier way?
