Insurance confusion

Okay, since this new ebay policy took place (I haven't sold anything since they first brought it into place)... I come to Auctiva and it wouldn't let me post it to ebay because of the ebay policy. I never used Auctiva's insurance before is this the best bet? I tried working it out, but I am just confused...before then I was just going to include the price of insurance in the shipping price and purchase insurance through Paypal. But then am I supposed to say "do not purchase insurance" from the list in Auctiva? If I choose to purchase insurance through Auctiva do I enable it...and does it automatically add the exact insurance to the shipping after it's over? Can I wait until the auction is over to do this...to add insurance to it? Help!
