Based on the behavior you are describing, it sounds like eBay felt it necessary to "re-index" your listings to appear in the appropriate search results pages when the scrolling gallery was added to them. This is actually a fairly common occurrence and, according to eBay's help page on the subject, they should reappear within 6 hours.
