Is Auctiva a replacement for an eBay store?

Yes, I am confused. Am I correct that I can now include a link to my Auctiva store from each of my listings on eBay thus eliminating my need to pay for an eBay store? Do Auctiva store listings show up in the main eBay searches or are they only accessible when someone clicks on one of my gallery items? I guess I'm not understanding if this is like having 2 separate stores with the same items or whether one replaces the other. Help!

Additionally, I would have waited until night time to sign up if I would have known that all 250 of my eBay items would be gone for an entire Saturday, my best sales day of the week. Losing lots of money!
