Thanks for posting about your experience here. We did start seeing an issue with some categories within the Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories section that caused the eBay recommended attributes that normally show up in the Custom Item Specifics and Add/Edit Variations interfaces to no longer appear as usual.
If you were listing through Auctiva, the behavior you would see as a result of this problem would be that the Custom Item Specifics and Add/Edit Variations interfaces to be empty when clicked and not to see the option to add new details in those sections when working within listings that already had data saved in those areas.
This problem was being caused because eBays' system was not returning that data when we were requesting it and we ended up reporting the issue to eBay's Developer Support team that afternoon. We never ended up receiving any sort of confirmation that the issue was resolved, but the behavior was no longer happening when we checked this morning.
I don't have a complete list of all the categories that were impacted in this manner, but it does sound like the issues you were all facing were most likely the result of this particular problem.
