Reply to "Listing fees question"

Hi!
Because we have no way to tell which level of store a user has, our fee estimator will return the basic insertion fee for a listing. We also don't know if a seller is eligible for discounts based on their powerseller/TRS scores. This is also true during eBay listing fee sales--right now they are having a sale for auction style listings for non-store owners, but our estimator is not able to know when these "random" sales will take place, and therefore will not show the zero insertion fee for those listings.

The fee estimator is just that--an estimate-- that will return the basic listing costs (without discounts) so that sellers won't get sticker shock when they see their eBay bill Eek In this case, we feel it's better to over-estimate than to under-estimate.

Remember that Auctiva has no control over the actual fees that are charged by eBay, and sellers should check with eBay to get the exact cost they will be charged for listing.
