Hi Bethany - Until recently it has been common to have to wait 6 hours or more for listings to show up in search. This was due to indexing and fraud control. eBay has recently improved substantially - now many listings show up almost immediately, while others still take 6 hours or so. It seems to depend somewhat on the type of items. As long as the listing shows up on your 'my ebay' page, you know it has posted, just check the search results later to confirm.
