Listings just "hanging out" -- not sure what to do

Trying to list some big ticket items for a friend...pressed post to ebay...went to ebay and didn't see items.....found them just hanging out in the scheduled section. Now they said "retrying" which is ok, but one says "ready" and now I'm not sure whether I have to resubmit again. HELP! I don't want to let this go too long.
