Yeah, it seems little iffy. Does the letter carrier really scan each DC package while at the mailbox? Seems more likely that it'd be scanned before actually leaving the post office -- which, of course, opens the door for more potential problems.

I'm not really complaining, though -- just curious. I haven't had any problems with Delivery Confirmation yet.
