Major HTML Dummy Please Help!

Hey All,
If there is anyone out there that can help me it would be so appreciated. Here's the problem:
There is a very nice seller on Ebay who is quitting and said that I could use his template. OK Fantastic-He emailed the HTML code for this. I Sorta got it in the custom template area. But I need to make changes to make it mine and get the photo in the template not above it and remove his feedback and replace it with mine... Here is the major problem..I have never done code in my life and have no idea what to do to fix this. I am not even close to being computer literate. I turn it on, I type, I turn it off, that's the extent of my knowledge.
So any help would be wonderful.
