Thanks for the reply. We you know how most software has a keyboard shortcut for various things e.g. IE has Alt+D to go to address bar, Alt+A to go to favourites, etc. I would suggest something along the lines of the way the BBC do it – link below

So for instance Alt+1 will always return to the BBC home page, Alt+3 will give a site map, Alt+4 puts cursor in the first edit box on the screen.
My suggestion is more one of speeding things up for most people. Most visually impaired users would probably use proprietary listing software like Turbo Lister with it’s own menu structure and shortcuts. You have to run on multiple browsers of course – many of the shortcuts have therefore been ‘taken’ already – hence the BBC’s use of numbers.
I don’t think you would need many – the key one is the listing page. I guess many people spend a couple of hours or more a day on this. Let’s say a 10% increase in efficiency on this screen could result in a lot of time saving – or more listings.
I would suggest something like Alt+1 to route your cursor to the Save button – and highlight it so you know what’s happening and then press Enter.
Another approach you could take is to redesign the listing screen. Most people change only the top section of the screen – the item details. Why then are the save and post buttons at the bottom? You end up scrolling past things you rarely change. Why isn’t the price and duration at the top also? You could then have Save and Post buttons also on the top.
Just a suggestion ….
